Ever wonder what goes into choosing a killer book title? Or how an author lands on their book’s structure? Or the secret behind a book’s successful elevator pitch?

We have some answers for you!

We’re proud to introduce our brand new Read Like A Writer Book Club! This seven-month program goes beyond the ordinary book club. We don’t just read our favorite books. We study them … like writers!

Here’s your READ LIKE A WRITER BOOK CLUB breakdown:

Over the course of seven months, you’ll read some of our favorite books by authors featured on our Bookbound With Bethany & Fran podcast and study them through a writer’s lens. Using our expert questions and guided discussions, we’ll lift the lid on the writing process and transform the way you read.

Your Read Like A Writer Book Club includes:

  • A monthly book club discussion via Zoom. We’ll share our key takeaways, learn from each other, and then divide into smaller breakout groups to drive more intimate conversations. We’ll also discuss how to apply these insights to your own book project.

  • A free ‘Read Like A Writer’ book guide. We’ve distilled over 40 years of writing and coaching experience into ‘7 key questions to consider when reading any book’. This guide will take you beyond the bestseller and shine a light on the writing process from inception to publication.

  • Exclusive insider tips from our Bookbound With Bethany & Fran podcast. Think genius tricks from bestselling authors—for book club members’ ears only!

  • Access to the amazing Bookbound community. You’ll receive entry to a private Google group where you can ask questions, share resources, and create a cheerleading squad—and launch team—for your own book.

Experience the fun and connection of a traditional book club while also deepening your understanding of the writing and publishing process (who knows, we may be studying YOUR book in the future!).

Sound good? See you there!
